The DJ Royalty Master Skills Course

Learn to DJ the way professionals actually train — hands-on, live, and with a real path to paid work.

An 8-week program from DJ Royalty × King & Queen Services. Real gear. Real instruction. A real pathway to booked events — not just another video library.

Why This Course Exists

Anyone can watch a YouTube tutorial. Almost no one can walk you through beatmatching in person, correct your hand on the jog wheel in real time, and then actually put you in front of a paying client once you're ready.

That's the gap this course fills. You'll study the material each week, show up live to learn it, then get hands-on with real equipment and a working professional — DJ Royalty — until you can prove you've got it, not just say you watched a video about it.

Atlanta doesn't currently have another in-person, small-group DJ training program like this one. If you've been looking for a real way into this industry — not a hobby course, not a content library — this is it.

What Makes This Different

  • Live instruction, not pre-recorded video. Every week includes a live class and a hands-on lab — real feedback, real correction, real accountability.
  • Small lab groups. Hands-on sessions are capped at up to 10 students per group.
  • A credential that means something. Every skill in your Master Skills Passport is demonstrated independently and signed off by DJ Royalty himself — not just watched, proven.
  • A real path to paid work. Graduates become eligible for paid bookings.
  • Built for real weddings and events, not just club sets — reception timelines, cultural traditions, MC work, lighting, and the business side of DJing that most courses skip entirely.

DJ Royalty ATL

DJ Royalty is an Atlanta-based DJ, entertainer, and educator with nearly a decade of experience and more than 3,000 events performed. He's held multiple nightlife residencies across metro Atlanta and built a reputation as one of the Southeast's most sought-after karaoke DJs — combining technical skill with crowd control and impeccable client service.

His training philosophy reflects that same standard: don't just teach students how to operate the gear — teach them how to turn those skills into real, paid bookings. Every student learns from someone who has actually built a career doing what they're training to do.  As part of King and Queen Services, a premium Atlanta wedding and event entertainment company, DJ Royalty trains every graduate to the same standard he brings to real client bookings.

What You'll Learn

Eight weeks, 25 lessons, building from fundamentals to full performance-readiness:

Weeks                                                      Focus

1–2                Sound systems, signal chain, gain staging, safety

3–4              Controllers, software, waveform reading, beatmatching, scratching

5–6              Music library building, mixing craft, open-format style

7                     Wedding & event mastery — timelines, cultural traditions, MC skills, lighting

8                     The business of DJing, professionalism, and your Final Skills Assessment

Every week pairs independent study with a live class and a hands-on lab — so you're never just reading about a skill, you're proving you can do it.

How It Works

  1. Study the week's material on your own time
  2. Attend a live Sunday Zoom class — taught live, not recorded, with a short knowledge check at the end
  3. Complete that week's practice assignments
  4. Show up to your hands-on lab, where DJ Royalty demonstrates, coaches, and watches you perform each skill independently
  5. Get signed off in your Master Skills Passport
  6. Repeat for 8 weeks, then sit for your Final Skills Assessment

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@kingandqueenservices.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

No. The course starts from the fundamentals — sound systems, vocabulary, and safety — before building up to performance-level skills.

Free content can teach you moves. It can't watch your hands on the gear and correct you in real time, and it can't verify you can actually perform a skill under pressure. This course is built around live correction and demonstrated competency — the two things video content structurally can't provide.

A laptop capable of running DJ software and headphones are required for the weekly class and independent practice. All hands-on lab equipment — including a Pioneer controller — is provided during labs. You can also bring your own controller.

Weekly payments are due by end of day Saturday, ahead of Sunday's class. One make-up session (class or lab) may be arranged with advance notice — reach out as early as possible if a conflict comes up.

A fully signed Master Skills Passport, a completed Final Skills Assessment, the DJ Royalty Master Skills credential, and eligibility for paid bookings.

Same curriculum, same credential, same instructor. The Debut Cohort is our first class, starts earlier, and carries a lower price. The October Cohort starts a few weeks later at standard pricing.

Once application and $200 deposit are submitted, you will receive a follow-up email within 24hrs at the email address you provide with an invoice for the remaining balance based on the selected payment plan, along with class time and location details (Atlanta area) as well as course curriculum information.
